ETS Helsinki 2024

13th-14th July 2024

For the first time ever, Roundnet Finland is proud to host an ETS event! ETS Helsinki 2024 will be organized 13th-14th July 2024 and will feature a division for all skill levels. Open and Women’s divisions will be played on Saturday 13th while Mixed divisions on Sunday 14th.

On this page you will find general information on the tournament including divisions, location, transportation, accomodation and activities. More detailed information on the competitive side of things will be found on tournament’s Fwango page and EURA’s website.

Divisions and prizes

The tournament will feature these divisions:
Saturday 13th July: Open Pro, Open Contender, Open Advanced, Open Beginner/Intermediate, Women’s Pro, Women’s Contender, Women’s Advanced
Sunday 14th July: Mixed Pro, Mixed Advanced and Mixed Beginner/Intermediate.

Prizes (Open Pro, Women’s Pro and Mixed Pro):
1st place: 500€
2nd place: 300€
3rd place: 200€

Location and venue

The tournament will be played in Matinkylän Urheilupuisto (address: Matinkartanontie 9-11). It’s located right outside of Helsinki, in the city of Espoo.

Playing surface will be high quality artificial turf. You will find locker rooms and showers next to the fields.

The venue is is easily accessible via public transport. If you’re coming from Helsinki city center, we recommend using the metro. You will find lot’s of restaurants and grocery shops near the venue.

How to get there

The easiest way is to fly to Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. Another option is to fly to Tampere, which is approx. 2 hours from Helsinki via public transport. You can also arrive via ferry to Helsinki or Turku (2 hours from Helsinki). This can be convenient option especially for people coming from Sweden or Estonia.

Once you get to Helsinki, we recommend taking a metro ride to the venue.

Accommodation and eating


We are arranging two options to accommodate participants conveniently. Information regarding these will be announced later.

Option 1 (price range 50-100€/person/night): Hotel Matts in Espoo. This option is nearby the venue and offers private rooms for individuals and groups. Here’s how to book and grab the roundnet-discount!

Option 2 (price range 20-90€/person/night): CheapSleep in Helsinki. This option is in Helsinki and provides a budget friendly dormitory accommodation. It’s 35-minute bus ride plus a little walk away from the venue.

Eating during the tournament

We will arrange meals at the venue during the tournament. You can purchase your meal either when signing up in Fwango or at the venue on the tournament day.

There is a large shopping centre Iso Omena just 10-15min walk from the venue. The centre has a large selection of restaurants, cafes and grocery shops to choose from. The nearest grocery shop from the venue is within a 5min walk.

Afterspike and other activities

We will be organizing afterspike, pre-tourney pick ups and possibly some Helsinki sightseeing tour! Details will be announced later.
